Re: how to Care for moss balls
Moss balls are tough but fussy about water changes. If you're using tap water, check for chlorine. I switched to RO and mine perked right up. Also, they love colder tanks, like below 76°F.

Re: algae vs plants - who wins?
Thanks for the tips, everyone. Gonna cut the light to 6 hours and grab some Frogbit. Been slacking on water changes, so I'll bump those up too. Appreciate it!

algae vs plants - who wins?
Been battling green hair algae in my 20 gallon for weeks. My Anubias and Java Fern are struggling, but the algae just keeps spreading. Anyone got tips to tip the balance back to the plants?

Re: Betta fish questions
Bettas are drama queens, honestly. Mine refused pellets until I waved them in front of his face like a dang puppet show. Now he's all about it.

Re: Angelfish showing aggression?
Aggression in angelfish can stem from territorial behavior, especially if they're mature. How old is the aggressive one? Also, what's the male to female ratio? Sometimes adding more plants or rearranging decor can break up established territories.

Re: Angelfish showing aggression?
My angelfish has been chasing the others around the tank lately. It's a 55 gallon with sand substrate, planted with Amazon swords and Java fern. Water params are good, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate. Temp is 78F, and I do 25% water changes weekly. Any idea why it's acting up?
Sounds like ...

Re: Is my betta not eating and lying on the floor?
I'll send a picture soon. I'm not sure the parameters are the issue, they were fine in the 30 gallon. I'll get the picture up as soon as I can.

Re: Is my betta not eating and lying on the floor?
Hey guys, I moved the betta to a 5 gallon tank like suggested, but he's still in bad condition. He's been in there for over a week now. I'm getting worried as he's not eating still. Any other ideas on what could be wrong or how I can help him?
