same as riverlynx, temp matching is key. i use a digital thermometer for new water, old school but works. also, u gravel vac? if not, start. waste builds up fast in small tanks.

I've got 6 red fronts and a couple of blue ones from Zambia.

I'm inclined to agree with the consensus here - your tank's a bit undersized for frontosas. MAYBE, just maybe, you could squeeze a pair in with a high-quality external filter, but even that's a stretch. Frontosas really thrive in groups, so keeping just two might not be ideal.
