Sounds like he's only gone downhill since the move to quarantine and starting meds - is the medication copper-based, and what does the label say about its use with marines?

I'm pretty sure it's just a reflection from the flash. If you can't see it with your own eyes, it's probably not something to worry about. Only special cameras that can see infrared and ultraviolet can pick up on things that are going on under the skin.

I think it's just a reflection, possibly from the camera flash. Did you use flash when taking the photo, it could be causing the unusual colors.

I've had mine on rock and they seem to do way better there, personally I think it's a better fit than sand.

Lobo-touched chalice with milky highlights
Woke up this morning to a weird sight - a strand of guts from inside my lobo had attached itself to the chalice, which was a milky color, not its usual bright red. Overnight digestion, maybe?
I carefully broke the string off and what was attached slid back into the lobo.

I've had some experience with feeding my Cichlids human food. They love strawberries, tinned peaches after a good rinse, blanched pears and apples. I've also tried blanched potatoes with some success. On the protein side, prawns and shrimp are always a hit. I used to have an Oscar that was ...
