I was wondering, has anyone tried attaching Anubias Nana petite to a large mystery snail's shell? I think it'd be really cool to see a plant growing on the snail as it moves around the tank. I chose Anubias because it's a small species, so I don't think it'll hinder the snail's movement. My main concern is the glue - will it harm the snail in any way?
I read the thread you mentioned, and it's interesting to see that the idea was met with enthusiasm over there. I'm aware that posting links to other forums isn't allowed here, and I appreciate the leniency in this case. It's a great reminder that opinions can vary greatly, and what works for one person might not work for another.

I've definitely taken unconventional approaches to fish keeping in the past, and it's been a mixed bag. Sometimes I've regretted my decisions, while other times I've stumbled upon something that works beautifully. The key is to consider multiple perspectives and weigh the potential risks and benefits.

As the saying goes, "In an abundance of counselors there is victory." Read widely, take opposing views seriously, and make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being of the animal.

Anubias nana isn't as small as you think, and trimming it isn't that easy. It's a decent-sized plant that'll grow and cause issues.

Your idea is half-baked, and it's clear you haven't thought it through. I'm not a fan of snails, but even I think your plan is a bit off.

I'm reminded of the old Bullwinkle cartoons, and I think you'd look great with a pair of moose antlers. Just a thought. I was watching the Rankin Bass Rudolph special, and those reindeer were hilarious. A superglued reindeer antler would be a fun idea, and not too inconvenient.

You know what? Try it on yourself first. If it's not a problem, then maybe consider it for a snail.

I just read the thread you mentioned. Interesting to see it was met with support and delight over there. Opinions - everyone's got one, and sometimes they clash. I've taken the road less traveled in fish keeping before. More often than not, I've regretted it and wished I'd listened to advice; but sometimes I've stumbled upon something unconventional that works beautifully.
