nothing. they're literally just redtail sharks with no color, that's the main difference.

Worth noting that both red tail black shark and albino red tail shark need a 4-foot long tank. Their temperament isn't exactly pleasant - can be quite nasty, actually. Other substrate fish may get pestered, or worse, killed.

Yep, they can turn quite aggressive as they mature, not just with substrate fish. Mine was a perfect gentleman until he reached about 3-4 inches in length. Then, his demeanor completely changed - he started bullying the entire tank, even the top-dwellers, to the point where I had to rehome him. They're indeed one of the most stunning fish in the hobby and definitely worth keeping, but having a rehoming plan in place is a must. Alternatively, just keep it solo.
