70 degrees Fahrenheit is way too low for a betta. They need it warmer, like 78-80F, or they'll just be super lethargic. What kind of test kit are you using, btw?

Hey, I think we need to get to the bottom of this. Can you please give us the exact numbers for your water test results - pH, GH, KH, ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates?

Also, I'm with happyone on the temperature thing - 70°F is way too cold for a betta. They need it warmer, around 77-78°F.

Do you let your water sit for 72 hours before doing a water change, or do you use a water conditioner to get rid of chlorine and chloramine?
