This is a solid piece. One thing that's always puzzled me - how do breeders manage all those male bettas if they can't keep them in smaller containers? I've been saying it for a while now, betta breeding should be banned, no exceptions.

I completely agree with your essay, loved the detail and explanations. One thing I'd suggest is being careful with quoting PETA due to their controversies - it might not be ideal for the paper. Awesome job overall, though!

I'd love to read it. I recently posted my own paper on Bettas too, so I'm curious to see your take. Maybe consider starting a new thread for it though?
