I must correct you, there are indeed aquacultured Euphyllia ancora in the hobby, although they're not widely commercially available. They can be found at hobbyist conventions and meetings.

Commercially available maricultured specimens, on the other hand, are often fragments of larger colonies that are epoxied to a base and allowed to heal.

Let's clear up any confusion here.

She's getting bigger, been watching her retract when I mess with the tank and the little ones are growing too. Saw my yellowstriped cardinal trying to hold onto a mouthful of eggs tonight, some spilled out and the dendro got a nice snack.

Looking forward to seeing more updates on the little guy's growth. At what point can you start feeding it - is it still too small for any foods? My experience with Wall hammers is they love a good mysis snack.

I've got a 350 display tank, so I don't target feed - my tangs and foxfaces would just eat it off the coral, anyway. I do feed heavily, though, and the nutrients are pretty high in there right now. I recently bumped up the flow, and the SPS corals seem to be loving it. The babies that were up high aren't as extended as they used to be, but they're still there and growing. I did notice one little guy growing on a zoa frag on the sandbed - it's in a lower flow spot, and it was looking nice and fluffy. It even had these little sideways feeder tentacles coming off the main polyp, which I've also seen on the mother colony during feeding time.

That's still pretty cool though. I know of a similar instance with a torch at a local fish store near me - it ended up popping up all over their tanks.
