Yeah, and if you wanna spice it up later, throw in some Moss. Java Moss or Christmas Moss, doesn't matter. It'll grow anywhere, just gotta trim it now and then.

Crypts are underrated. The melt scares people, but once they settle in, they're bulletproof. Perfect for low-tech setups.

Don't forget about floating plants like Frogbit or Salvinia. They're low-maintenance and help keep algae in check by shading the tank a bit. Plus, they look cool.
