I've tried Hornwort in my soft water tank. It grows fast and helps with water quality. Just be ready to trim it often.

If you're into floating plants, Frogbit is a good option. It's easy to care for and helps shade the tank, which can be useful if you're dealing with algae.

Yo, I've got soft water too, and my Bacopa Caroliniana is thriving. It's kinda slow-growing, but it's chill with the low pH. Just gotta give it some time to settle in, ya know?
Bacopa is a great choice if you're patient. Mine took a month to start growing, but now it's one of my favorites. Just don't freak out if it drops leaves at first.

Another tip for soft water plants: avoid heavy fertilization. Soft water tends to hold onto nutrients longer, so you might not need as much as you think. Start with half the recommended dose and adjust from there.

I've found that adding a bit of crushed coral to the substrate can help stabilize the pH without making it too hard. It's a subtle change, but it's made a difference for my plants.

If you're still having trouble, consider testing your water for trace elements. Soft water can sometimes lack certain nutrients that plants need, like iron or magnesium. A comprehensive test kit can help pinpoint any deficiencies.
