My method's simple: small changes more often. 10% every 3 days keeps the water stable, and my betta doesn't freak out. Less is more sometimes.

This. Big changes can mess with the biofilter. I do 15% weekly but might switch to your schedule.

Thanks for all the tips! Gonna try smaller changes and the almond leaves first. Appreciate the help.
