Best food for corydoras

That's a great point. I've noticed my corys are way more active in low light. I've started using a moonlight LED for night feedings, and it's made a big difference.

Another thing to consider is substrate. If you've got sharp gravel, it can wear down their barbels over time. Sand is ideal, but smooth rounded gravel works too. Healthy barbels mean better foraging and happier corys.

Good call on the substrate. I switched to sand a few months ago and my corys are constantly sifting through it. It's adorable to watch, and their barbels look much healthier now.
