Flow can help, but it's not a cure-all. You'll need to address nutrients too. What's your nitrate and phosphate levels? Also, consider adding some herbivores like Trochus snails.

Don't forget to post pics of your scape, reelmaster! I'd love to see how it turns out. And dawnix, hang in there. Algae phases are normal in new tanks. It'll settle down with time.
