Replanting is a great way to fill in bare spots. I've used trimmings to start new tanks. Just make sure they're healthy before you do.

Another tip: if you're trimming a lot, check your filter. Wisteria sheds tiny bits that can clog it up. I learned that the hard way.

Good call on the filter. Mine got sketchy last time I went wild with the scissors. Had to clean the impeller twice in a week.

Yeah, filters hate plant debris. I always turn mine off for a bit after big trims. Lets the bits settle so I can siphon 'em out.
