I'm still new to this, but my LFS guy told me to let the ATO run for a day or two before tweaking it. Sometimes it just needs to settle in.

That's a good point. Rushing the calibration can make things worse. Patience is key.

Also, keep an eye on your salinity if the ATO's acting up. Big swings can stress your corals real quick.

If all else fails, try a manual top-off for a few days while you troubleshoot. Better safe than sorry.
