Thanks for the help so far, I really appreciate it. I've been searching everywhere and I've come up with three different Latin names for this white tailed trigger - Sufflamen sp, Sufflamen albicaudatus, and another one that I just can't remember for the life of me. The picture I sent to the person who offered it to me is definitely the right one, but the one at the local fish store is a bit darker. I think that's why they don't have much info on it - it was sold as reef safe, but it's not, and apparently, it's not a very common trigger.

Tusks should be alright with more passive planktonic triggers like the blue jaw, Hawaian black, or pink tail. I've also heard the white tail is similar, and nigers to a lesser extent.

I've dug up some info on the white tailed trigger - check this out. According to this site, it says that White-tailed triggers are generally peaceful, grow to about 8 inches, and don't need as much room as some of the other triggers.

ive found a bit more info on the white tail trigger, its supposed to grow to around 8-12 inches which is pretty manageable, and apparently its considered peaceful for a trigger - not that theyre always the most laid back fish lol. also found some reports of people keeping them in reefs but i think thats a bit of a gamble.

Lol, whats left to know then?
