I've heard some folks use a floating ring to corral duckweed to one area. Makes it easier to scoop out. Never tried it myself, but sounds like a decent hack.

Duckweed's the worst. I had to tear down my 10 gallon because it got so bad. Now I quarantine any new plants for weeks to make sure they're clean.

This worked for me too. Frogbit's roots are way longer, and it shades the duckweed enough to keep it under control.
