				Ain't got time for all that. I just use Seachem Acid Buffer, dose it with every WC. pH stays put, no fuss.

				Buffers are sketchy long-term. Seen too many crashes. Better to fix the root cause, like turret said with the peat pellets. Cheap and effective.

				Yo, throw some oyster shells in a media bag. Cheap, easy, and they dissolve slow. My pH's been steady at 6.8 for months. 40-gallon breeder, canister filter, no driftwood.

				Honestly, if they're not laying, pH might not even be the issue. How old's the pair? Mine didn't spawn till they hit 18 months, even with perfect water.

				Try upping the temp to 88°F. Sometimes that kicks 'em into gear. My pair only lays when it's toasty.
