Water change frequency

Water changes are a scam. Fish don't need them if the tank's balanced. Just add plants and stop messing with the water.

That's a risky take. Even heavily planted tanks can benefit from occasional changes to replenish minerals. Plus, not everyone's tank is 'balanced' like yours might be.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll try upping the volume to 30% and adding some Frogbit. Didn't even think about testing my tap water, so I'll do that too.
