Yeah, my betta took a month to stop being a jerk to the shrimp. Some just have that killer instinct, no matter how chill the tank is.

Mine ignored the shrimp for days, then woke up and decided to hunt. Lost half the colony before I moved him back. Sketchy little dude.

If you're worried about aggression, try adding the shrimp first, then the betta. Sometimes it helps if they're the newcomers instead of the other way around.

Never thought of that. Might try it next time I rescape.

Just moved my betta last week. He hid for a day, then flared at his reflection like nothing happened. Drama queen.
