Yeah, salt mix can play a role. I use Red Sea Blue Bucket, and my Euphyllia are less feisty than when I used Instant Ocean. Not sure if it's the trace elements or just luck, but worth considering.

Interesting point about salt mix. I've been using Fritz RPM, and my corals seem pretty chill. Maybe it's the magnesium levels? Anyone else notice a difference with Fritz?

I switched to Tropic Marin last year, and my Hammer stopped stinging everything in sight. Could be coincidence, but my tank's definitely more peaceful now.
