Bacteria supplements can help, but they're not a guarantee. Natural cycling is more reliable in the long run.

I dunno, man. My tank cycled in like 10 days at 80°F. Maybe I just got lucky. Or maybe it's the Seachem Stability I dumped in there.
Stability can kickstart things, but it's not a substitute for a full cycle. You still need to monitor those params.

Exactly. Even with supplements, you gotta make sure the bacteria can handle the bioload. What's your stocking plan, LilySang?

I'm thinking a small school of Neon Tetras and a Betta. Maybe some shrimp if the Betta's chill.

Nice plan. Just keep an eye on the Betta's temperament. Some are cool with tankmates, others… not so much.

Yeah, Bettas can be hit or miss. I'd add the Tetras first, let them settle, then introduce the Betta. Less chance of territory issues.

Solid advice. Also, make sure your tank has plenty of hiding spots. Plants, driftwood, whatever. Gives everyone a chance to chill.

Man, I'm still stuck on this cycling thing. Maybe I need to try Stability or something. This is taking forever.

Patience is key. Rushing the cycle can lead to bigger problems down the line. Trust the process.

Or just dump in a bunch of Stability and pray. Worked for me, lol.
