bruh, my heater broke last winter, and my fish was NOT happy. had to emergency upgrade to a better brand. sketchy gear ain't worth it.

how do you know if your cycle is crashed? my tank's been up for months, but i'm paranoid.

Test for ammonia and nitrites. If either spikes, your cycle might be off. Nitrates should be present but low, like under 20ppm. If everything's zero, it's probably crashed.
