Update on the fry - they're now in the grow out tank. Being fed bbs twice daily, and also getting crushed flake food. Here's a video of them in their new home - http/www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLsvesyE9SE&lis ... ature=plcp

Update - The fry are really taking off now. Lots of them are getting their juvenile lines, and it's pretty cool to see. I just uploaded a new video of them chowing down on some bbs.

Just got a pair of super reds, apparently still waiting to see if the color develops. They've been in my 300L for about 10 days now and are staying together pretty well after a rough start. I'm curious, what's the size of your grow out tank? If mine breed, I only have a 5g spare at the moment. Do you think I could grow out a decent number in that tank before putting them back in the 300? And how long before they're large enough to be rehoused in the 300? Any advice would be appreciated.

I was just wondering if it's possible for the male to kill the female when breeding kribs. I had a batch of fry recently and the female went missing, the male was taking care of them full-time.

Yeah, it's definitely possible for the male to kill the female, I've heard of it happening before.
