Live rock helps, but it's not a magic bullet. If your bioload's high, bacteria alone won't keep up. What's your fish stock like?

Exactly. Also, test your source water. Sometimes the nitrates are coming from there. I've seen tap water with 10 ppm straight outta the faucet.

Good point. I use RODI with a 0 TDS reading, but my buddy had nitrate issues from his well water. Dawnly, you on city or well?

City water, but I run it through RODI. Just checked the TDS, and it's at 1 ppm, so that's probably not the issue. Gonna try the increased water changes and cut back on feeding.
