Re: A new setup approach

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've taken them on board, and I've actually moved some duckweed from one of my other tanks into this one. I'm waiting on some suction cups to arrive this afternoon, so I can set up some extra perches for Abraham Lincoln to hang out on. I know some of you mentioned floating plants, and I'm on it - I've just got back from getting some plants for the suction cups. I do have to say, I'm not a big fan of ornaments in my tanks, I like to keep things natural, but I made sure to choose some with plenty of space for my chunky boy to swim through.sSjey wrote: ↑Tue Jul 22, 2025 1:29 amBe mindful of your betta's tendency to squeeze into tight spaces. Many owners have shared their experiences of having to carefully dismantle decorations to rescue their stuck betta.Lurcher wrote: ↑Tue Jul 22, 2025 12:15 am Consider adding some water lettuce or water sprite on the surface, it's fantastic for maintaining good water quality and providing your betta with some shade, which can help alleviate his natural wariness of predators. The floating plants will also give him a sense of security. As for the plastic buildings, will Abraham Lincoln be able to fit comfortably inside them?
