Betta fish parasites and treatments

My betta had ich once, looked like someone sprinkled salt on him. Raised the temp, added salt, and he bounced back. Just stay patient, it takes time.

Anyone know if Indian almond leaves help with parasites? Heard they've got antifungal properties.

They're more for stress and mild antifungal, not parasites. Won't hurt, but won't cure ich or velvet either. Stick to the meds reefman mentioned.

Nope, copper'll kill snails and shrimp. You'll need to move them or use a different treatment like Paraguard, which is snail-safe.
