can discus live with plecos?

I've kept Discus with Bristlenose Plecos for years. Key is plenty of space and hiding spots. My 90-gallon has driftwood, caves, and floating plants. The Discus are calm, and the Plecos do their thing at night. No drama.

That's the way to do it. Also, make sure the Plecos get enough algae wafers. Hungry Plecos can get pushy.

Another tip: feed the Plecos after lights out. Discus won't compete for food then, and the Plecos can eat in peace. Works great in my tank.
