My Discus hated the powerhead at first. Took a week for them to adjust. Now they're fine, but I had to tweak the angle like five times. Patience pays off.

Anyone tried pointing the powerhead toward the surface? My tank's got less film since I did that. Plus, the Discus seem to enjoy the slight current.

Yep, surface agitation is a game-changer. Also keeps the water clearer. Just don't go overboard or you'll have stressed fish.
