Exactly. Dense planting reduces aggression. Also, floating plants can help diffuse light, which Rams appreciate.

One more thing: Rams are picky eaters. Mine only take frozen or live food. Cherry Barbs will eat anything, so you might need to target feed the Rams.

Mine took a while to accept pellets. Now they're fine, but it was a struggle at first. Patience is key.
