Java Moss can also harbor detritus worms if not maintained. Anubias is cleaner but requires patience. Both have pros and cons.

With guppies, Anubias is a solid choice. The leaves provide good cover for fry if you end up with any.
Agreed. Anubias is more manageable long-term, especially for beginners.
