If it doesn't show up, maybe consider a lid. Wrasses are jumpers, and even a small gap can be enough. Learned that the hard way with my sixline.
Second this. Lost a firefish the same way. Now I run mesh lids on all my tanks. Cheap insurance.

Yeah, lids are a game-changer. Also, wrasses are weirdos. Mine used to sleep buried in the sand. Maybe yours is just taking a long nap?
