Anubias are weird. Mine grew faster when I stopped fussing over them. Less is more, I guess.

Anubias prefer lower light and attach to rocks or driftwood rather than being planted in substrate. If they're buried, they might be struggling. Check for rhizome rot, and consider moving them to a higher flow area if your filter's output is weak.
Yep, rhizome rot's a killer. If the rhizome's buried, it's gonna rot. Gotta keep it exposed.

For real, Anubias are like the tortoises of the plant world. Slow and steady wins the race. Just let 'em vibe, and they'll get there.
