Quieting a loud air pump

Mine's on a shelf with some foam under it. Works fine, but I've heard some folks use those vibration pads for washing machines. Might be worth a shot.

Those pads are great. I use one for my canister filter, and it's dead silent now. Same principle should apply to air pumps.
