Make sure your water conditioner is good quality. Some cheaper ones don't neutralize all the bad stuff. I swear by Seachem Prime. Also, how old is your fish? Older bettas heal slower.
Second the Prime recommendation. It's a game-changer. And yeah, age matters. My senior betta took weeks to heal from minor fin damage.

Bro, just keep it simple. Clean water, salt, and patience. Don't go dumping a bunch of meds in there unless you gotta. Most times it clears up on its own if you stay on top of maintenance.

If you're using salt, remember to dissolve it in tank water before adding. Dumping it straight in can irritate their slime coat. Also, avoid salt if you have live plants, some can't handle it.

Everyone's given solid advice. Just want to add that stress can slow healing, so keep their environment calm. Maybe skip the water changes for a couple days if they seem stressed by them.
