My ferns did the same thing. I just left them alone and they bounced back. Sometimes they're just adjusting.

Maybe try adding some root tabs near them? Even though they're not rooted, they can still grab nutrients from the water column if the substrate is enriched.

I once put a Java Fern in my tank and it turned into a banana. True story.
