I'm a huge betta fan, we all know that. But I've noticed there's not much buzz about the new betta of the month here. So, I'm excited to share with you my LFS's (aka my best friend) and my rosetail bettas!!!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's a betta of the month coming up next month. I'll just hold off and post mine then.

August's Fish of the Month contest is indeed all about Betta Splendens. Get your cameras ready to snap a great pic of your own betta - it's gotta be in your household, though. Contest starts around August 15th.

Moony is going for a hat-trick, aiming to win three contest awards. He already has banners for Tank of the Month and Poster of the Month, so now he's setting his sights on Fish of the Month.

This contest is super important to me and my beloved bettas.

I was on the verge of saying the same thing about @fineman's trifecta comment, but it seems I've been beaten to the punch.
