is my fish building a bubble nest?

Hi everyone, I've got a male fin tank in a 20 litre setup and I've noticed a lot of small bubbles appearing on the surface over the past couple of days. They're pretty spread out, not like the usual ones you see online. I've read that some nests can be quite scattered, but I'm still not entirely sure what's going on here. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
