Hey everyone,
I've got a Red Tiger lotus that insists on growing these crazy tall leaves.
Maybe I'll just let it do its thing this time.
It's almost as if it's trying to produce a flower.

You've got a few options with that tall leaf, GamePix. Cutting it off at the base will keep your lotus lower to the ground. On the other hand, letting it grow all the way up might block light to your other plants - once it reaches the surface, that's where new growth will focus. It's possible it'll bloom, which would be awesome, but it could also compromise your scape in the long run.

I'm aware of the tendencies of these high-achieving plants, just thought this particular leaf was worth sharing.
