Growing a new terrestrial plant from my aquarium.

I've got a Hoya in my tank right now that's doing great, and I'm thinking it'll be awesome for growing out of an aquarium. It's a cutting from a super old house plant, like over 100 years old, that used to belong to my wife's grandmother. We've had a few different varieties as house plants - the ones with variegated leaves, curly leaves, and those with whites and pinks. But I just found this new one I'd never seen before, and I'm gonna give it a shot in a tank - it's called a "Black Margin Hoya" (Hoya Verticillata). Assuming it's a flowering vine like the rest of the Hoyas, right?
