I'm having some issues with my hammer coral - it's detaching from the skeleton and the remaining parts aren't expanding. There's also this weird white film on it, which I've taken a photo of to get a better look.

My trachyphyllia has these tiny, cotton-wool-like growths on it. For a couple of days, it even had this stuff covering its mouth.

I'm stumped - does anyone know what's going on here or what could be causing this?

I think those white growths on your Trachyphyllia resemble Mesenterial Filaments, which corals sometimes deploy as a defense mechanism or when they're stressed. Fortunately, your coral looks healthy overall, so it's worth giving it a few days to see if the issue resolves itself.

Regarding your Hammer coral, I'd recommend researching Brown Jelly Disease/Syndrome – it might be worth looking into, given the symptoms you've described.
