hi all, just a quick question..

i've got 2 BN's (bought young) and one's now growing bristles, which might mean fry in the future...

don't want any of those pesky critters though!

my stock is Rusties, 1 flavus, acei, and yellow labs.

not sure if any of them would eat BN fry, given the catfish skin, but would appreciate a definitive answer.

pretty sure my male BN will have to go, regardless.

I've got BNs in most of my tanks these days. The ones that spawn in my cichlid tanks - think mbuna, peacocks, CA or SA - aren't really a concern. I actually take the new BN fry from my breeding tank and toss them into the cichlid tanks, see how they fare. It's a numbers game - the ones that manage to grow big enough to avoid being eaten are pretty easy to rehome later on.
