Can guppies coexist with cherry shrimp?

I'm curious about guppies and cherry shrimp - do they get along in the same tank? I've got a pretty heavily planted setup, would that help if they do eat them?

Well-fed guppies aren't typically aggressive towards cherry shrimp, and a heavily planted tank should provide ample cover for the shrimp, reducing the likelihood of them being eaten.

Thanks @coltin, that's really helpful to know.

My guppies have always left the adult cherry shrimp alone, but I'm not too sure about the little ones, to be honest. If you're looking to keep them safe, java moss would definitely be a good idea - lots of hiding spots for the shrimp.

Thanks for the advice, I'm gonna go ahead and get some Java moss, should help the babies hide.

I've also kept them with guppies and they get along fine. The guppies only eat the baby shrimp occasionally, which can actually help control their population in the tank.
