My Anubias are struggling in my high pH tank, around 8.2. They're not melting but growth is super slow. Anyone got tips for keeping them healthy in these conditions? Tank is 20 gallons, with moderate lighting and CO2 injection.

Anubias can handle high pH, but slow growth is common. Try adding more trace elements, especially iron. My tank's pH is 8.0, and I dose Seachem Flourish twice a week. Also, check your lighting, too much can cause algae on the leaves.

I've had Anubias in pH 8.4 for years. They're chill but won't grow fast. Key is keeping the rhizome above the substrate and avoiding direct light. What's your water change routine? Frequent changes help with nutrient balance.

Yep, Anubias are tough but slow in high pH. Mine are glued to driftwood, and I barely mess with them. They'll grow eventually, just don't expect miracles. What's your substrate? Sand or gravel can make a diff.

High pH tanks are sketchy for plants, but Anubias can adapt. Try lowering the light intensity and increasing CO2 slightly. Also, what's your KH? If it's too high, that might be stressing them out.

Agreed. I do 30% water changes weekly and my Anubias are doing fine. Also, consider adding root tabs if they're planted in substrate.

I'm new to this, but my Anubias are in pH 8.0 and seem okay. They're not growing much, but the leaves are green. Should I be worried about the slow growth?

Nah, slow growth is normal for Anubias in high pH. Just keep the water clean and don't overfeed. What's your tank temp? Warmer water might help a bit, but don't go crazy.

Anubias are low-maintenance, but high pH can limit nutrient uptake. Try adding a liquid carbon supplement if you're not already. Also, what's your filter type? Good flow helps distribute nutrients.

My Anubias are in pH 7.8, but I've heard they can handle higher. How often do you fertilize?
