Raising fairy cichlid fry

just got back from me dads and checked the tank, found some fairy cichlid fry, was well chuffed. they've spawned before but this time they're being super protective, good to see. got an external filter so thought i'd try and save a few, managed 11 so far, will try and get some more tomorrow if they're still there. had to stop netting as the parents were getting stressed, didn't want to cause too much hassle. added some java moss in now, here's a few pics

left some in the main tank yeah they do rely on the offspring for next breeding cycle

I don't reckon so. I've only heard that's the case for J.marlieri. These fairy cichlids are such great parents, I'm not sure you'd even need to remove the fry, but I did it to give 'em a better shot.
