Just got a new Brain Coral and I'm not sure where to put it in my 75-gallon tank. I've got moderate flow and T5 lighting. Any tips on placement to keep it happy?

Yo, Brain Corals dig low to medium flow, bro. Stick 'em mid-tank where the light's not too harsh. Mine's chillin' under T5s, no probs. Watch out for aggressive tankmates though, they'll mess with it.

I've kept Brain Corals for years. They thrive in moderate light and flow, but avoid direct high flow areas. Place them on a flat rock where they can expand without touching other corals. Water params should be stable, especially calcium and alkalinity.

Mine's doing great near the bottom. I've got a 100-gallon with LED lights, and it's been growing like crazy. Just make sure it's not in the path of a powerhead, that'll stress it out.

Brain Corals are pretty chill, but they don't like too much light. I'd say mid-tank is the sweet spot. Keep an eye on it for a few days to see if it's happy.

Agreed. Mid-tank is ideal. I've found they also do well with a bit of shade from overhanging rocks. Just ensure your water quality is on point.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll try mid-tank and keep an eye on the flow. Appreciate the help!

Exactly. Stability is key. Test your water regularly, especially if you're new to keeping Brain Corals. They're hardy but sensitive to sudden changes.

Yep, and don't freak out if it looks a bit closed up at first. They take time to adjust. Mine took like a week to fully open.

Mine did the same thing. Just give it time and keep the water clean. They're pretty resilient once they settle in.
