Who Gives A Fish Forums

hi all,
i'm setting up a malawi tank and i've got the basics covered - 4ft min, high ph (8.2 straight out the tap), lots of rocks for decor, and as high as possible. but what i'm struggling with is what fish to stock. i like the following fish - mel. cyaneo, electric blue johanni, cyrtocara moori (blue dolphins), pseudochromis demasonii, and yellow labs. i'm particularly drawn to the blue stripes.
i know haps don't work well in the same tank, but i also know there'll be some scuffles. what i want to avoid is one particular fish being targeted by its tankmates. any advice on what works well and what to avoid would be great.

I've got a mix of Demasoni and White Labs in my 75g, 20 of the Demasoni and 10 Labs, and so far so good, no major trouble. The Demasoni males will scrap with each other every now and then but that's just part of the deal.
