Best way to mount coral frags

I've been struggling to get my frags to stay put in my 75-gallon mixed reef. Tried super glue gel but they keep detaching after a few days. What's the most reliable method you've used?

Super glue gel works best for me, but you gotta make sure the frag plug or rock is bone dry before applying. I also use a tiny bit of epoxy putty to secure the base if it's a bigger piece. What's your water flow like? Too much can knock them loose.

Yo, just slap some epoxy on that bad boy and call it a day. Works every time, no cap. My Zoas stay put even with the wavemaker on full blast.

Epoxy can work, but it's messy and sometimes leaches chemicals. I prefer the two-part gel method: super glue first, then a dab of epoxy for extra hold. Less risk of messing with your water params.

I've had luck with the toothpick method for smaller frags. Just wedge a toothpick into the rock, then glue the frag to it. Sounds sketchy, but it's held my Acros in place for months.

Anyone tried the magnetic frag mounts? I've been curious but worried they'll rust or mess with the tank's vibe.

Magnetic mounts are hit or miss. The good ones are pricey but won't rust. Cheap ones? Not worth the risk. Stick to glue or epoxy if you're on a budget.

I've used both glue and epoxy, but lately I've been leaning toward the putty. It's easier to shape and doesn't dry as fast, so you can adjust the frag's position. Just make sure your hands are wet when handling it.

Why not just let them roll around the tank? Free-range corals, man. It's the next big thing.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. Gonna try the glue-and-epoxy combo and see how it goes.
