raising baby cichlids

I was observing my cichlid tank and noticed a possible baby yellow or metachroma hiding in the caves - it's hard to get a good look. Not sure how many there are, but I've definitely seen one. Unless I come up with a clever plan, I'll have to disassemble the tank to catch them. My concern is, if I remove the hiding spots to catch the little one, would a 1/4 inch cichlid be safe with my 4-5 inch cichlids for a few minutes, or would it become a quick snack?

Leave them be if you can see them, they'll stand a better chance than you trying to catch them, plus you'll avoid stressing the adults out by dismantling the tank.

Yeah, that's a good point, only seen the one so far, he's got a specific cave he's claimed as his own, the others can't fit in it, if there are any others they've probably gone the same route, I've got loads of caves in the tank, both small and large, so they've got plenty of options.
