Just moved to a new city and looking for solid fish shops. Any recs? Prefer places with healthy stock and decent prices, not just chain stores. Also, if they carry oddball fish or plants, that's a bonus.

There's a spot called Aqua Haven on 5th. They got some wild stuff, but the prices are kinda steep. Still, their Bettas are top tier.

I've had good luck with Coral Cove. Their staff actually knows what they're talking about, and they quarantine new arrivals. Plus, they usually have a nice selection of Anubias and Crypts.

Avoid Fin & Folly. Their tanks are overcrowded, and I've seen dead fish left in displays. Coral Cove is my go-to, like zenfly said. They test their water weekly, and you can see the results posted.

There's a tiny place called The Wet Spot. It's kinda hidden, but they specialize in rare South American species. Got my last batch of Cardinal Tetras there, and they're thriving.

Big fan of Aqua Haven too. Their saltwater section is legit, but yeah, it's pricey. Worth it for the quality though.

Second this. They've had multiple complaints with the local fish club. Sketchy vibes all around.

I like Reef Dreams for corals, but their freshwater selection is limited. Super clean tanks though, and the owner is super helpful.

The Wet Spot is solid for oddballs. They had some wild-caught Apistos last time I was in. Healthy stock, no visible parasites.

Anyone know if Coral Cove does special orders? Need some specific driftwood for my new setup.
